Who’s in the Clubroom?
- Clubs and academic societies
- Real-time presence
- 2022.09
Built a service that used club Wi-Fi connection data to show who was in the clubroom in real time.
Finding out who was in the clubroom required contacting someone or visiting in person.
Set up FreeRADIUS-based 802.1X infrastructure and combined LDAP with ARP scanning to identify connected users.
Converted Wi-Fi connection status into real-time presence information available on the web.
